My life in words!

Life is so full of beauty and happiness we find and make. I love moments when our eyes are opened up to the simple pleasures of love, life and laughter. I love the small moments that become such great memories. I love the ability of seeing beauty beyond words, hearing melodies so sweet, tasting things so equisite, touching textures so soft, speaking words so kind, smelling scents so clean and fresh, and loving deep and pure. Life is a gift and each day we unfold new treasures.

Thursday

I love my Colon-less brother!

Well, on the 12th, my baby brother had his colon removed. He is still in the hospital, but is doing well. Today is day number 4 and they are going to take him off of his epidural now, and up his morphine intake. He has been "numb" from the epidural since monday and is glad to be able to wiggle his toes. Today they may let him get up and move around more, and possibly walk. It will be a slow move forward, but it is moving forward, what else can one ask. Im so proud of him for being such a trooper and he will be super thrilled with his 18" scar up his middle. Boys haha.

My brother is gone!!!

Well the dreaded and yet muchly anticipated day for Casey to go to the MTC has come. We just dropped him off yesterday and it hit me so hard! Him and I are so close so its like my twin just left and I wont see him for 2 years. But I know he is out doing the lords work and that gets me through. I hope it will continue to do so. I miss him so much already but am so super duper proud of him! I love him so much and am so thankful for this choice he made in his life to serve the lord and help others to be families together forever!

Tuesday

Grrr Chunks!!

Okay boys out there listen up! If you stalked me in high school....DONT TRY TO CONTACT ME NOW......If I went on a horrible "blind date" with you and didn't talk to you again....DONT CONTACT ME NOW.......if your married and know you should be a "good boy"....DONT , DONT, DONT....JUST DONT.......Seriously man! Im about to open up a whole new chain of vocabulary not known to the average man if these freakin boys dont get a grip!
For real I try to give all people a chance, a frankly little high school "obsessor" I should have just broke your heart dead in your tracks, but no I had to be little nice girl and just try to be friends, that of which you could not handle, so you had to go and start rumors about me and my boy "friend". ......LAME..
Seriously you make me chuckle! You drive me nuts! But you give me a good laugh.
So thanks for that at least!!
God Bless You and your "will to treck on"

Puppy!!

So I have been training my little bro's puppy! And so far it has been a success! I have taught her to shake, and I must say she is a pretty sophisticated shaker! She will sit and lay down and when you ask her to shake, she puts her paw in your hand! Now that if nothing else can make one feel like they have some control in life! If I can train a puppy to shake my hand when I say so, maybe I can do a little more ;) Maybe next I will teach her to get the mail and make my bed, but for now I think im gonna stick with the old school, sit, play dead, roll over techniques. But I taught her to shake.....being a robot isn't too far off ;)

Classic movies

I am on the biggest old time movie kick! Im loving watching the old school movies like Casablanca, Sabrina, Breakfast at Tiffany's and many many more. Im also loving the old school western classics with John Wayne and Clint Eastwood. Im loving this little kick im on! These oldies but goodies are must see's I would say! But I do wonder does Clint Eastwood have to sound so monatone in every movie, I know it makes his character but come on, he was a looker he just needs to be more alive! But maybe its his monatone character we all fall in love with. Hmmmm thats a ponder! I must say some of his lines wouldn't be the same if they were done any different. Maybe they wouldn't be "classic".
"Your men wandering around in the night are likely to catch a cold......or a bullet"
or "You shouldn't play with matches" haha or maybe the good ol famous "Do you feel lucky...well do ya punk?!" haha oh' good ol' Clint Eastwood. I love his lines
I could go on and on about Mr. Eastwood, and even Mr. Wayne and Audrey Hepburn (my favorite) they are wonderful in my opinion.
Well I think im off for my Classic Movie Marathon day ?? ah who cares..Bye
